It is in our DNA to reduce as much as possible the carbon footprint that we can produce with our activity, thus impacting as little as possible on the environment and being able to join forces against climate change. That is why we try to join all sustainable development initiatives and activities that help us to consolidate this objective and make the world a better place for everyone.
In line with this goal, we have very good news: as of this month we join the Net ZERO 2030 campaign driven by the Ⓑ Corp Climate Collective, a member organisation of the UNFCCC's Race to Zero ampaign, which mobilises cities and organisations to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030.
That is why, as an association committed to ⒷNet Zero by 2030 we are part of the #RaceToZero.
In order to meet this objective, we will carry out the following actions:
- Use of renewable energy sources to ensure that we can charge vehicles with clean, emission-free energy.
- Employing vans and freight vehicles with electric motors, contributing to the reduction of pollution in our cities, and also increasing the carbon footprint.
- Selection of suppliers that are aligned with our values and have production systems that are respectful and committed to the environment.
B Corp Climate Collective has partnered with the University of Oxford to select a set of tools to help achieve the goal of zero net emissions by 2030, the Ⓑ Climate Tools Base. These tools will aid in tracking your carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions, refine your approach to climate justice, reduce your own emissions and emissions in your value chain, identify offset projects, report on your progress, form partnerships and more.
We consider it vitally important that key sectors such as urban mobility get involved in projects like this and lead the change towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly transport and logistics systems, thus completing a completely emission-free cycle.
